If you could choose one gift this year for Christmas, what would it be? I know what mine would be.
If I could choose one gift for Christmas this year it would be to sit down and eat a nice meal with my mother and father. Oh, how my mother could cook. Then I would like to share my heart with them and tell them how much I appreciate them, how grateful I am for them and how much I love them. The problem is, I can’t do that because my mother and father no longer live on this earth. But perhaps yours do?
I would give up all of the Christmas gifts for the rest of my life for just one more day with my mother on this earth. You may likely feel the same way one day, after your parents are gone. Don’t be a fool; make your parents your gift and you be a gift to them!
P.S. The good news is that I will see my mother in eternity where one day is alike a thousand years.

The way of a fool seems right to him,
but a wise man listens to advice.

If you don’t spend Christmas with loved ones, family and friends, you will have a sad Christmas. But if you don’t spend Christmas with Jesus Christ, you will have no Christmas!
Christmas without Christ is like… indescribable!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
