Mondays are always difficult for some people because they must break their stride from a weekend to the beginning of a very committed week. Often, we forget that God is interested in our daily attitudes which determine our spiritual aptitudes. Keeping our eyes on Jesus requires us to think upwards and not down. When you must choose between seeing God or seeing man, it’s not a hard choice. Make Monday count for the rest of your positive week.
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, 6 so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. –Romans 15:5-6
