It’s Sunday… God’s Day!
Too often we have just taken Sunday as any other day of the week but that is not the way God set it up to be and we should recognize this. Sunday was set apart to be different and a day of rest for all of mankind but today we have bunched it in just like any other day. When I was a child, we spent Sundays as a day of leisure as much as possible and often people came to our house to visit. And there was spiritual conversation, and it was good and friendly. We should all be taking a little better look on Sundays and what we do. Sunday was to give us a rest from the rest of the week and prepare us for another week. God knew we needed a day of rest.
Therefore the LORD your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day. -Deuteronomy 5:15
