Beauty is not Always Common!

As we see people every day there is one thing that everyone notices, whether they admit it or not, is beauty. Beauty comes in different forms, but physical beauty is noticeable. Likewise, so is not beautiful. I once heard it said, “Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is to the bone. In time beauty will pass away, but ugly holds its own.” We are quite tuned in to beauty whether we are male or female. However, we also notice people who are not beautiful. But what we really do not notice is the person who is not beautiful or unattractive. And this is the majority!
Most people are not beautiful or unattractive, they are just people. God made them… just people. But inside most people there is a sense of beauty that is also very recognizable but often overlooked. It is something God puts in one’s life that is His image and it is beautiful. And when people have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior God puts withing them a glow that is easily seen and is beautiful. Look for the glow of God’s people and you will be surprised how easy it is to see and how easy they are to enjoy.
Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. -1 Peter 3:4
