Is Going to Church the Cure-all for my Life?
Going to church can be very much like going to a movie or any place else if we are not tuned in to what is happening there and what we are doing there. Paying attention to what God is doing through us and with us is a critical part of growing in our faith. So the church is not the cure-all for everything that goes on in our lives unless we focus on what God is doing with the church and especially with us. By the way, God knows what He is doing!
You, LORD, hear the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, -Psalms 10:17
