Sports Fans Listen Up!
I watched the first round of the National Football League draft last night and I was quite surprised. Three of the first five or six draft picks were quarterbacks. But the fourth quarterback from Kentucky did not get picked in the first twenty-three picks. It is sure interesting how the team leaders pick players to be on their teams to try to win the Super Bowl. With all their experience they still score a big zero on some of their picks and some they overlooked were and will become better players in the NFL. It really makes me wonder how much knowledge the team leaders really have.
If we all had head coaches and General Managers picking out our salvation I wonder if Heaven would have anyone in it. It is amazing how many people have such major skills and use it for business but do nothing or very little in the Christian world. It’s time to take your talents to God and ask Him to use you in the way in which He made you and that you will be obedient to Him and His calling. You can’t go wrong following God. You can only go wrong falling away from Him!
“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
