Sometimes to keep your life in tune you have to sing a new song!
-Lyn Sahr
-Ps 96:1-6 NIV
Sing to the LORD a new song;
sing to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Sing to the LORD, praise his name;
proclaim his salvation day after day.
3 Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
4 For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
he is to be feared above all gods.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.
6 Splendor and majesty are before him;
strength and glory are in his sanctuary.

There is a segment of the Christian world who proclaims the “error” of Jesus birth this time of the year. Yes, it is true that he was probably born in the spring, not winter, but that has nothing to do with the fact that we celebrate. When we celebrate his birth is not near as relevant as that we do celebrate it and, in our hearts, we must celebrate it every day of every year. Great joy brings continuous great celebration!

-Luke 2:8-12 NIV
And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
