Music Speaks to Hearts
Last night my wife Lonna and I attended a concert at the Heart of the City Music Factory in Anoka, MN listening to Fernando Ortega, a well-established gospel singer. He is now going to turn sixty-seven years old. As I have gotten older, I really appreciate listening to the music from experienced performers like him. His concert was terrific. As people get older, they have so much more experience to draw from to minister to those in attendance.
So it is with all Christians. The older we get the more we have to offer. God never brings a person through life empty. He always fills them with His love and dear guidance. And then we share it with others in one way or another. God’s word is powerful and contagious. Share it everywhere in song, word and deed.
“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ -Matthew 25:21
